Pay: This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate will typically pay a range from $25.00 up to $42.00/hour for qualified candidates.  Additional efficiency and ASE bonuses are also available.

Schedule:  Day shift hours, 40 hours/week.  Our Technicians work 8 hour shifts (Monday through Friday). No night shift, weekends, holidays, or on-call schedule required! 

Shop Environment: Family owned company, with strong shop/parts support.  Since we are an independent dealership, our technicians focus on quality repairs, not flat-rate pressure.  Our technicians work on all Class 8 trucks (Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt) as well as Cummins, Detroit, and CAT engines.  Technician work will also include transmission, driveline, susupension, and electrical diagnostics and repair.  All repairs at Vander Haag’s are completed in a clean, well-lit, air conditioned shop that is equipped with overhead cranes and hoists. 

Tools: Vander Haag’s offers flexible arrangements to assist you with the purchase of additional tools (if necessary). We also sell Milwaukee power tools right at our store locations!
