Shipping and Return Policy
Shipping
Vander Haag's uses a custom algorithm to automatically calculate freight on most of our items. Unfortunately, there are some items that require a manual calculation of freight. For more information on our website freight calculation, click here.
Vander Haags ships Monday thru Friday with the exception of observed holidays. Products are usually located in one of our warehouses and will be shipped within one business day. Occasionally, products listed are not located in one of our warehouses and (in the case of our recycled items) may need to retrieved from a salvage unit. We will do our best to ship all items within this time frame and often orders placed prior to 2:00 PM Central Time will ship same day.
Shipping times will vary depending on geographical location and carrier. If you need expedited shipping you can call us at 888.940.5030 or click “Get Freight Quote” and specify in the comment section that you require expedited shipping.
In order to maximize the products available to you, certain products on our site may be shipped directly to you from the manufacturer or included in one of our stock orders and then shipped to you. We will do our best to provide you with accurate shipping times when items are fulfilled outside of our warehouse system.
Expedited Shipping is non-refundable.
Product Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your order. If you are not completely satisfied with our product, for whatever reason, you can return the item for a refund of the part price within 30 days of your purchase. All returns may be subject to a restocking fee.
In Store Returns:
Bring the item(s) you would like to return to any one of our stores along with your receipt. Any of our sales representatives will be able to assist you with the return.
By Freight Returns:
- Our Return/Exchange Guidelines encourages you to ship your package back to us with tracking and delivery confirmation. *PLEASE NOTE: that without a tracking number and delivery confirmation we cannot accept responsibility for returns/exchanges not received.
- Call us at 888.940.5030 (please have your Order No. handy).
- Our service representative will provide you with an RGA information for you to include with the shipment.
- Please package the items on their original pallet, stand or in its original packaging.
- Once your return has been delivered, please allow 10-15 business days for your refund/exchange to be processed.
- *Please note that we can't refund shipping costs in either direction.
Refunds:
Part Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of receipt with the proper paperwork. The refund will be credited back to your original form of payment with the exception of Wires / ACH / cash. For these forms of payment, a check will be issued and mailed the following week from the business office to the Billing Address listed on the invoice.
Freight Charges:
Sorry, we do not refund freight charges. Freight charges incurred on returned item(s) is the responsibility of the customer.
Core Returns
Some of our products have a "Refundable Core Charge" ?. You can return your core for a full refund within our core eligibility period (indicated on your receipt) provided the item is "like" the item purchased and in a rebuild-able condition.
In Store Returns:

Core Definition:
What is a core charge?
Many parts found on trucks, trailers and equipment are designed in a way that they can be remanufactured. A core charge is added as a form of deposit to encourage the recycling of these parts.
The core charge or core price is refunded when you returned your broken, wore or tired part provided that it is "like" the item purchased and in a rebuild-able condition.
Cores can be returned for a refund at time during its eligibility period (normally 90 days) and should be returned in it's original container.
