At the heart of our salvage process is our Outdoor Dismantling Technician. Working primarily by yourself in our salvage yard, you will be responsible to safely remove parts from our salvage units that our customers have ordered. 

This job performs a wide variety of different tasks each day including:

• Working independently in a Yard Truck assigned to you (truck is set up with tools & equipment).
• Planning and organizing your own workflow throughout the day.
• Working outdoors on a frequent basis, removing parts our customers need to stay on the road!
• Communicating with Sales staff regarding the condition of used parts in the yard.
• May occasionally assist with loading/unloading parts for customer as well.

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Pay is dependent on experience and can range from $16.00 up $25.00 for qualified candidates. Compensation level is dependent upon experience.

Tools: Vander Haag’s will provide a base set of tools for this position. Additional tools may be purchased at your own expense.
