Outside Sales Representative

Vander Haag's has an excellent career advancement opportunity! This position will lead efforts to increase Vander Haag's market share and develop new business opportunities. There will be opportunities to work closely with other leaders within the organization to develop strategies focused on market share growth, customer satisfaction, and growth of the facilities' location.

General duties include:
  • Sell Vander Haag’s, Inc. products in a competitive business to business environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Leverage parts knowledge to lead customer to the best fit solution.
  • Maintain sales growth with assigned customers through regular communication, follow-up, and proactive sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by management.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in your local market.
  • Analyze sales data and coordinate with the General Manager and Parts Manager to create a focused outside sales plan for customer growth.
Some prior sales experience in the trucking or construction equipment industry is preferred.
 
Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday.

Compensation: This position is paid on a salaried basis. Typical compensation is usually $60,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience level.
